Louis Vuitton Hotel Pop-Up London: What to Expect, Café Alma & More

My mum and I visited the Louis Vuitton Hotel Pop-Up today and honestly, it was such a fun experience!

If you’re in London and love luxury experiences, beautiful interiors, or simply want to do something a little different, I’d highly recommend visiting.

The Louis Vuitton Hotel Pop-Up is taking place at 28 Berkeley Square, Mayfair, and runs until 21st June. The experience has been created to celebrate 130 years of Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram print, and every room has been designed around different parts of the brand’s history and most iconic collections.

The experience itself is completely free, but it is ticketed, so make sure to book ahead before visiting.

From beautifully curated rooms and iconic handbags to hidden details, thoughtful touches, and exceptional customer service, it really felt like stepping into a mini Louis Vuitton world for an hour or two.

Arrival at the Keepall Lobby

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the kindest gentleman Sean at the door who warmly welcomed us in and invited us to head to reception to “check in” to the hotel.

We headed into the first room, the Keepall Lobby and spoke to the lovely lady at the reception. She handed us a key card and encouraged us to enjoy our stay by taking as many pictures and exploring all around.

The room features a beautiful range of Keepall bags in different sizes, colours and designs which are available for purchase or you can just ask about them!

There is also a beautiful section displaying notebooks featuring major cities, card holders, and the newest passport covers which are so colourful and designed with different cities around the world like Paris, Ibiza, Saint-Tropez and London.

One of my favourite parts of this room was the bookshelves showcasing a range of beautiful books and Louis Vuitton’s boxes including the Blooming Box (£8,950), Camera Box (£6,900), Pyramid Trunk (£15,200) and Jewellery Box (£6,350).

Even if you’re not planning to shop, it’s so fun simply walking around and admiring everything.

There is also a lovely postcard section where you can take a postcard home and write on it or keep it as a memory, which felt like a really thoughtful little touch.

Around the room, you’ll also spot classic Louis Vuitton handbags dating back to the 1920s, 1930s, 1970s, and 1990s, which is such a beautiful way to showcase the history and craftsmanship of the brand.

Complimentary Bag Cleaning Service

A really lovely detail we discovered was that Louis Vuitton are offering a free bag cleaning service during the pop-up.

If you bring your Louis Vuitton bag with you, they can clean it while you explore the hotel.

And if you don’t have your bag with you that day, they told us you can even return another day for the service without needing another ticket, which is such a thoughtful offering.

The Dressing Room

As we made our way upstairs, the next floor was divided into a few beautifully designed spaces, each showcasing different Louis Vuitton collections. One of the rooms felt like stepping into the most luxurious dressing room imaginable.

The space was filled with plush red interiors and beautifully displayed Louis Vuitton beauty products, makeup bags, perfumes, accessories, and keepsake trunks.

One standout piece was a beautiful heart-shaped engagement ring box, priced at £2,590, alongside a stunning vanity box priced at £7,600.

It was such a beautiful showcase of Louis Vuitton’s smaller luxury pieces and decorative trunks.

In the main section of the floor, there was also a big selection of Speedy bags, from the Nano Speedy to the Speedy 25 and Speedy 30. You can also see a range of charms available to purchase them.

The Speedy Room

One of the most interesting rooms was dedicated entirely to the Speedy P9, created by Pharrell Williams.

The room showcased the Speedy P9 in both classic Louis Vuitton colours and more playful seasonal shades.

What I found fascinating was learning that each Speedy P9 requires 240 handcrafted steps to complete, made by expert artisans to ensure the highest level of quality.

The room also featured a deconstructed Speedy P9, showing every individual piece used to create the bag, alongside a video showing the craftsmanship behind it.

It was such a fun and playful room, featuring pieces like the Black Speedy P9 Bandoulière 40 (£8,450), Bear Bee Charm (£960), Hot Sauce Charm (£680) and Summer sports-themed bear charms.

Café Alma

After exploring, we made our way up to Café Alma which is located on the top floor. The room is beautifully designed with a range of Alma handbags on show, here are just a few:

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and because it was fairly quiet, we were able to get a table as walk-ins. If you want to go for afternoon tea or lunch then pre-booking is required!

Since it was still early, we decided to go for drinks and dessert.

We opted for the coffee or tea with a Monogram entremets, which was £26 per person. My mum ordered a Latte and I had a pot of peppermint tea and we both ordered a dessert which were Earl Grey & Plum Vanilla Sablé with plum coulis and apple & Hazelnut dessert with hazelnut praline, brown butter salted caramel, and Granny Smith apple sauce.

These desserts were delicious!! First of all, they were huge which I which I wasn’t expecting at all, I did think we would get small bite sized desserts. Each dessert had so many intricate layers and every bite felt like its own experience. Honestly incredible!

I would recommend sharing one dessert between two people because they’re very generous in size!

One thing to note: we asked if we could take leftovers away, but unfortunately takeaway isn’t allowed so keep that in mind.

Afternoon Tea & Lunch Options

Café Alma also offers an afternoon tea option for £95 per person, which includes lobster roll, cucumber tzatziki, Smoked salmon & cream cheese sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and sweet desserts including lemon curd, tiramisu, raspberry & hibiscus.

They also offer a lunch set menu for £65, which includes a main, side, and dessert. The food looked beautiful and also great portions. We saw several people enjoying it and would definitely recommend booking.

You can also enjoy champagne by the glass from £29 or bottles starting from £160 if you’re with a larger group.

I can’t forget to mention the customer service here was exceptional. The staff were kind, warm, funny, and really made the whole experience feel even more special.

The Louis Vuitton Gym

My favourite room was the Louis Vuitton Gym. This entire space was dedicated to the iconic Neverfull handbag and how strong it is as it can hold up to 100kg!!

The room had a fun gym theme, with Neverfull bags displayed on benches and barbells to highlight their carrying capacity which made it a playful concept and perfect for taking pictures.

In this room you could see both the classic Monogram Neverfull design as well as newer styles from the Resort collection.

Bar Noé

On the basement floor, you’ll also find Bar Noé, a beautifully designed bar inspired by the Louis Vuitton Noé bag.

The whole space felt intimate, luxurious, and warm, think rich brown tones, soft lighting, and elegant details everywhere.

Although we didn’t stop for a drink since we chose Café Alma instead, the space looked beautiful.

The bar serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and from Thursday to Saturday it stays open until 11:00pm, with DJs creating a more lively evening atmosphere.
